Awesome Indies Book Awards is usually open for submissions during the first seven days of each month. However, this period is flexible and is dependent on the availability of assessors and the number of submissions received but not yet completed.

PLEASE NOTE:
- If a primary assessor is not available, the writer of another Awesome Indies Book Awards submission will be asked to consider your book. By completing this form, you agree that Awesome Indies Book Awards can request you read and evaluate a submission by another author and you will assess the submission in accordance with the assessment criteria at https://awesomeindies.net/criteria/.
- Copyright Consent: The Ebook submitted for assessment will be added to the AIBA Dropbox account for distribution to AIBA assessors.
- AIBA can only accept submissions in the epub format. There are several free conversion programs available to download through the Internet. For example: Calibre, Convertio, Amazon Kindle Create, and others.
- The details you have provided on the Submission Signup Form will be added to the AIBA General Mailing list. If you unsubscribe from the AIBA General Mailing list, your book will not be assessed.
- Occasionally, AIBA will send information to all subscribers on the General Mailing list. If you “Block” or “Bounce” our emails, your book will not be assessed.
- The submitted version must be available for immediate purchase/download from Amazon.
- After submission, the book cannot be withdrawn or replaced with an updated version.
- Please do not submit printed books, pre-paid books, or gift certificates. AIBA will not assess books that are mainly Poetry, Stage Plays or Movie scripts.
- WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS AMAZON “GIFTING” so please do not “gift” your book! Please see https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G200652260

- Important: Details of your submission including your personal details and social media accounts will be transferred to the AIBA General Mailing List.
- If you unsubscribe from the AIBA General Mailing list before the assessment process is complete, your book will be removed from the submission list.
- Please ensure you inform admin@awesomeindies.net of any changes to your contact details. If we cannot contact you, your book will not be assessed.

Due to a shortage of assessors and a backlog of submissions, it might be some time before your submission is assessed. Awesome Indies Book Awards is currently investigating alternative methods of assessment. Books which do not receive a first assessment within twelve months of submission might not be assessed.
Awesome Indies Book Awards is operated by a group of independent authors, editors, and creative writing educators working together to build a list of the best English-language self-published or independently published books available today.

An Awesome Indies Book Awards’ Badge of Approval signifies that a self-published or independently published book has been crafted to the standards expected from major publishers. This shows readers that they can trust that the book is a professional product worthy of their attention. After receiving the Awesome Indies Book Awards’ Badge of Approval, books that we consider outstanding will be considered for the Awesome Indies Book Awards’
