Henry is a man fleeing the ghosts of his past. On his final epic flight, he wakes up in a bathroom restroom with no car, no wallet, and no memory of the trip that landed him there. Broke and broken, he's forced to hitchhike his way across the deserts of New Mexico to his home in Southern California. Along the way he meets a series of eccentric strangers, including a bartender, preacher, social worker, psychic, and escaped felon. Each of these peculiar characters claim to have a sense about Henry. Each help him find another piece of himself as he slowly glues himself back together. But ultimately, it's Alice, the girl with the kryptonite eyes, who touches Henry's heart and teaches him that his life is worth re-entering.
