Three out of the five of this new intake of books includes three metaphysical fiction novels. I could also slot them into other categories, but what makes all of these books different to others in their genre category is this metaphysical slant. I think this is a literary area that is growing in the indie community. Indie authors can write and publish what they want, not have to wait until a publisher decides that that is what the public might like to read, so we publish the new directions, readers discover them and yay! The indie community is leading the way.
AIA Publishing’s first publication was also metaphysical science fiction. If you don’t know what metaphysical fiction is, take a look at our Metaphysical Fiction page where there’s a definition. There’s also a shelf full of these thought-provoking books that have an element of philosophy combined with the ineffable, non corporeal aspects of human experience. I’ve personally read all of these metaphysical books and they’re all terrific, especially the Cyber Bardos (not for those easily offended) and the Commons, Book one:The Journeyman which has received a Seal of Excellence.
